Acid Ease Herbal Tea | Marshmallow Root Slippery Elm Chamomile DGL Licorice & Fennel | Caffeine Free Loose Leaf Tea

from $7.00
Acid Ease Reflux Tea is a gentle, soothing botanical blend inspired by traditional herbs known for their naturally mucilaginous qualities and their long history in digestive herbalism.

MARSHMALLOW ROOT

Long before marshmallows became fluffy candy, there was the marshmallow plant.

Marshmallow (Althaea officinalis) has been valued within traditional herbalism for centuries.

The root contains naturally occurring plant compounds called mucilage. When combined with water, these compounds create the characteristic slippery, soothing texture for which marshmallow root is known.

That quality makes marshmallow root particularly recognizable in traditional preparations centered around gentle digestive rituals.

SLIPPERY ELM

Slippery elm (Ulmus rubra) comes from a tree native to North America.

The inner bark has a long history of traditional use and, like marshmallow root, contains naturally occurring mucilage.

Once hydrated, slippery elm develops a distinctive smooth, almost silky texture.

That makes it a natural partner for marshmallow root and the heart of the soft, gentle character we wanted for this formula.

CHAMOMILE

Chamomile brings the flowers.

Its tiny golden blossoms have appeared in household tea cupboards for generations and remain among the world's most recognizable herbal teas.

Chamomile provides a mild floral, subtly apple-like character that helps soften the earthier roots and bark.

DGL LICORICE ROOT

Licorice (Glycyrrhiza spp.) has been used across traditional herbal systems for centuries.

For this blend, we specifically use DGL — deglycyrrhizinated licorice.

DGL has had most of its naturally occurring glycyrrhizin removed, distinguishing it from conventional whole licorice root.

It contributes a naturally sweet character that complements marshmallow, slippery elm, chamomile, and fennel beautifully.

FENNEL SEED

Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare) completes the formula.

These aromatic seeds have been incorporated into foods and traditional after-meal preparations across cultures for generations.

Due to the nature of this product, returns are not accepted.
